![]() That could explain the “ double role” Jackman will reportedly play: he may appear as different or even multiple versions of the character we know and love. Deadpool 3 may continue its fast-and-loose rapport with the timelines by uniting its anti-hero with a different Wolverine from an adjacent universe. There are only so many ways to explain Wolverine’s first encounter with Wade Wilson in X-Men Origins, which is technically still canon (although that version of Deadpool was killed off in Deadpool 2’s meta credits stinger). Though there’s plenty of space in the canon for Wolverine to take a quick detour, it would make sense for Deadpool 3 to avoid Fox’s X-Men timeline altogether. But it’s also possible that Deadpool 3 will use the multiverse to explore a new timeline and introduce a new Wolverine. The filmmakers seem to be giving Logan a wide berth, but what does that mean for Deadpool 3? Will it take place in the past, between the Japan-set The Wolverine (which saw the character don his trademark yellow suit) and Logan? The haircut Jackman sports in Deadpool’s first look is near-identical to his look in The Wolverine, so there’s a strong chance the new film picks up right where it left off. ![]() Dark Phoenix killed Mystique very early on in the movie, but despite being the only major death, it was completely mishandled.Fox issued a soft reboot of the X-Men franchise in 2011 with the release of X-Men: First Class. Wolverine’s Deadpool 3 look is surprisingly comics-accurate. WARNING: Major spoilers for Dark Phoenix ahead. Totally separate thing,” the actor explained in an Instagram video. Levy’s comments echo Reynolds’ statements in 2022. “I want the world to know, as the producer and director, all of us share a deep love and respect for Logan, every aspect of how it’s crafted, and all the events that take place,” Levy recently told BroBible’s Post Credit Podcast. Actor: Sophie Turner, James Mcavoy, Michael Fassbender. Reynolds, Jackman, and Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy have made their reverence for Logan clear, and though Jackman is officially back, the 2017 film remains fixed in canon. The X-Men must now band together to save her soul and battle aliens that want to use Grey’s new abilities to rule the galaxy. Jackman last appeared as Wolverine in Logan, a swan song for the character and an all-around fitting end to Fox’s X-Men saga (if you ignore Dark Phoenix, as you should). As exciting as it will be to see him trade blows with Ryan Reynolds’ merc, there’s one question still lingering: How will Deadpool 3 work around the demise of Wolverine? That’s largely thanks to the return of Hugh Jackman, who’s set to reprise his role as Wolverine after six years in X-Men retirement. Despite being in production limbo, Deadpool 3 remains one of the most anticipated Marvel projects. ![]() I think she is beautiful and extremely well rounded in terms of skills. Me: Anything you would like to add that I have not covered so far? But seriously, I think she just had too much on her plate and didn’t know what to do with it so she turned to drugs and then lost control of her emotions. Having the paparazzi watching and commenting on every move I make could possibly drive me to do drugs as well! Haha. L: I think they have a lot of pressure and sometimes they don’t know how to deal with it because they are normal people just like you and I, but they have an extra talent. Me: Why do you think celebrities so often times turn to drugs? Me: Rumors had suggested that her meltdown was caused by drugs. Unlike a lot of other celebrities she got ahold of herself and got help before things turned into a complete disaster. But as I have grown, I would say I actually like her more knowing she has been through these hard times and responded well to adversity. L: I remember thinking less of her after her getting divorced and finding out she was doing drugs. Me: Did the media change your opinion about her as you got older? I remember a lot of adults talking about her and pictures of her on the news very often. I was too young to understand what she was going through with drugs and marriage issues, but I remember being sad that she wasn’t coming out with any new music or having concerts. L: Yes, I remember this very well even though I was in 7 th grade. Me: Do you remember her meltdown in 2007 when she shaved her head? What did you think? She is a symbol of overcoming tough situations with strength and hard work. She is a mom and still has an amazing career and has come back from a drug problem to be happy and healthy now. ![]() She is extremely talented though and has come back from a bad place to still be one of the most famous singers among our generation. Obviously she is a sexual symbol in some ways, so that is not the greatest model for young women. L: I think she is a good role model in ways. Me: Do you think she is a good role model for children or young women? Why or why not? This never took anything away from my opinion of her music or talent though. I remember Britney and her dancers dancing in cages with barely any clothing on. The concert was amazing but also very questionable in the level of appropriateness. Of course none of the men at the company wanted to use them, so my dad got 15 tickets and told me I could give them to my friends. L: Yes, my dad’s company got a bunch of free tickets to her Circus tour in 2009. Me: Have you ever been to a concert of hers? If so, what do you remember? They did however complain when I had her songs on repeat in my room in middle school or when I would make them watch my dances I choreographed to her songs. I don’t ever remember them telling me I couldn’t listen to her music. L: I do remember my parents making fun of her when she had her meltdown. Me: Knowing Britney Spears and her track record in the media, did your parents like her? Did they ever recommend that you stopped listening to her songs? I was old enough to go to her concert finally. ![]() Circus is the only concert I was able to go to my freshman year of high school. L: My favorite song is Lucky, but my favorite album would have to be Circus. Me: What was your favorite album or song of hers? Her music is so upbeat and is always different. She could always dance and sing well at the same time. It takes a lot of skill to be able to be an entertainer. She was a young girl so I could relate to her songs most of the time. Me: What is it about her music has kept you as such a fan for this many years? As long as I can remember, my friends and I would always sing to her music and I had her CD’s. I cannot remember a time where I didn’t listen to her music. How did you start listening to her music? Me: Thinking back to the good old high school days, I can remember you always obsessing over Britney Spears. After that concert I had always wondered how my friend Lindsey became so obsessed with her and what about her music kept her around. I never understood how someone that’s so talented and also a mother, could expose themselves like that when they are already known and famous. From half naked women dancing in a cage, to Britney pretty much giving a strip show, I remember it like it was yesterday. When we went to the concert, I saw things I had never expected to see ever. When we were in high school, Britney came out with her Circus tour and Lindsey’s dad happened to have fifteen company tickets that he was able to get for us. When we were in middle school she would always talk about her and follow what she was doing and what tours she was on. ![]() She had all of her CD’s and knew every word to her songs.
